ADOPTION INFORMATION

Adopting a Sphynx kitten from MAGICALPURR Sphynx  is based on a first come first served basis.  We do require a deposit to hold a kitten.  All deposits are non-refundable.
A $200.00 dollar deposit will hold your kitten, the remaining balance is due before the kitten is shipped or picked up.  Shipping is between $150.00 and $200.00.  They are sent to you in an airline-approved carrier and a warm blanket furnished by MAGICALPURR.
(Two kittens can go into one carrier, you will only be charge for one shipping charge)

THE AIRLINE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE LIVE ANIMALS THAT THEY HANDLE.  MOST KITTENS SLEEP THE WHOLE WAY.

The prices on are sphynx kitten’s range from $900.00 per kitten to $1200.00 per kitten.  All the kittens will be spayed or neutered before they leave MAGICALPURR.
Kittens are ready to go to there new homes at age 12 to 16 weeks.

All kittens come with a health guarantee; all kittens will be checked twice by a veterinarian and up to date with vaccinations.

PURCHASER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING:

1. The seller agrees to sell and the purchaser agrees to buy the following described kitten:

3.  The purchaser shall be responsible for all shipping charges and insurance when  kitten is shipped using Airlines. Seller is not liable for cats/kittens lost or stolen after acceptance by the airline carrier.  It is the responsibility of the purchaser to file a claim with the airline if shipments are lost, damaged, or delayed, resulting in mortality.
4. Deposit of $___________USD are required to reserve a kitten. All deposits are non-refundable.
5. Under no circumstances will this kitten be sold, leased or given away to any pet store.
6. This kitten will be kept INDOORS and not allowed to roam outdoors.
7. Buyer agrees that this kitten may NOT BE DECLAWED.
8. All pet kittens are spayed or neutered prior to leaving unless otherwise specified.
9. All kittens will have  three sets of vaccines from a veterinarian against Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleqkopenia at the appropriate ages. Their 12 week vaccine will be a four way vaccine that includes Chlamydia. The kitten will need one more set of vaccines at 16 weeks of age. This will be a four way, Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleqkopenia and Chlamydia, then yearly.
10. The FELV vaccination can be given at Purchaser’s discretion. Seller takes no responsibility if the kitten has any adverse reactions to any of the future vaccines.
11. The administration of the FIP vaccine is not advised! If the kitten is vaccinated against FIP the contract is null and void. Failure to keep the said kitten up to date on vaccines will offer this contract as null and void.
12. The kitten is guaranteed to be of sound health upon arrival. All kittens come with a 1-year guarantee against any life threatening genetic disorders. Purchaser agrees to have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 business days of purchase, and agrees to notify seller within 48 hours of any adverse findings. If kitten is found to be medically deficient by the veterinarian with an untreatable or life threatening disease, the seller should be contacted at once. If the kitten should die from this problem, purchaser must notify. MAGICALPURR immediately, and furnish a Feline Necropsy report with lab findings indicating cause of death. Based upon lab findings, seller may replace said kitten when one becomes available. Purchaser shall be responsible for all shipping charges.
13. If seller cannot replace a new kitten within one year, seller will issue cash refund.
14. Kittens can go to their new homes at approximately 12 to 16 weeks of age. Kittens must be paid for in full at 11 weeks of age.
15. Purchaser accepts the responsibility to care for this kitten properly. It must have clean water, fresh food, and a warm clean environment to live in at all times.  This kitten shall be kept indoors.  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THIS KITTEN BE KEPT CAGED. Kitten must be provided with yearly veterinary exams. All yearly shots must be kept up to date.
16. Seller cannot guarantee that this kitten will not grow hair at some point in his/her life. Degrees of hairlessness can vary from kitten to kitten. No Sphynx is completely hairless. There are many factors that can affect hairlessness, hormones, genetics, climate, even diet. Even though a kitten is very bald when it is sold does not mean that it cannot develop some hair as it grows older. Most will remain just as they are, but it is impossible for MAGICALPURR to guarantee that the kitten/cat will not grow hair at some point in the future.
